our story
We came across a story online that broke our hearts. It was about a rescue dog named Bengie who had been horribly abused.
His jaw was completely torn off. The photos were so graphic and upsetting, they kept my wife up at night.
At the time, she was working as a pharmaceutical executive, and she knew of a powerful protein formula that had helped people recover from serious injuries.
She reached out to the vets caring for Bengie and asked if they’d be willing to try it — even though it was originally made for humans, we were desperate to help.
We’ve always been pet people. In our house, pets aren’t just pets — they’re our kids with four legs and endless hair.
And after seeing what that formula did for Bengie, we knew we had to create something just as powerful, but made just for them.
