how to qualify for a retainer
You do not apply for a retainer cold. Your audition videos and your Growi numbers are the application. We look at:
✓ Consistency: 30 videos in 30 days at the starter level, more as the retainer grows
✓ Results: past performance, audience engagement, views, and GMV tracked in Growi
✓ Quality and authenticity: content your audience trusts, with your dog front and center
We reassess at the end of every month and move you to the retainer your numbers support. One slow month after a strong run does not cost you your spot: we give you the next month to show it was a blip. Two slow months in a row and the retainer likely comes down.

Do I need a big following?
No. Micro creators are just as welcome as mega. Authenticity and consistency matter more than follower count, and the retainer path is open to everyone who performs.
What if I'm not on TikTok Shop?
No problem. TikTok Shop is what opens up commissions and GMV prize campaigns, but paid partnerships and retainers run on any platform: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok without Shop.
How and when do I get paid?
TikTok Shop commissions are paid through TikTok. Retainers and campaign payments go out at the end of the month: submit your invoice between the 1st and the 5th, and anything that comes in after the 5th moves to the next cycle. If you start mid-month, we prorate that first month, then you are on the full monthly payment from there. Everyone bills on the same cycle, which keeps it clean on both ends.
Do I get free samples?
Yes. Approved creators get samples to work with, and we replenish as needed. Cadence is a judgment call based on how much content you are making and how fast you are going through a bottle.
How long until I can get a retainer?
Start with your audition videos. Once we see how they perform, we place you on the retainer your numbers support, and we reassess at the end of every month. Some creators get there in their first couple of months.
